Watermelon Margarita

Watermelon, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice are all you need to make this delicious Watermelon Margarita recipe! Made completely in a blender, it's the best way to use fresh watermelon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups watermelon cubed
  • 3 oz. tequila
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 - 1 cup ice (optional) see notes

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth. Slowly pour through a fine mesh strainer to remove any of the pulp.
  • Pour into salt or sugar rimmed glasses filled with ice and serve with a lime round. Enjoy!

Notes

*Calories are per serving and are an estimation. 
*To make frozen watermelon margaritas: There are two options: 1) Freeze the watermelon cubes ahead of time, then add them to the blender or, 2) Add the diced watermelon along with a handful of ice cubes to your blender, along with the other ingredients. Blend, strain and enjoy!
*Separation is natural; simply stir the drinks before sipping!
