This Strawberry Ginger Paloma is incredibly refreshing and made with simple ingredients like grapefruit juice, strawberry simple syrup, ginger beer and tequila. It's bound to be your new favorite summertime cocktail!
Start by making the strawberry simple syrup. Add the strawberries, sugar and water to a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and simmer for 15 minutes, using a wooden spoon to help break down the strawberries. Then, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to strain out the strawberries and refrigerate the simple syrup.
When you’re ready to make the drink, have everything prepped and ready to go. Have the tequila out, your grapefruit, lime, the ginger beer, and get the simple syrup out of the fridge. Run a lime wedge along the rim of a cocktail glass, then dip it in salt or sugar. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
To make the paloma, add all of the paloma ingredients to a cocktail shaker, along with some ice. Shake, then pour into your cocktail glass. Enjoy!
