I just shared the recipe for vegan <a href=\"https:\/\/thealmondeater.com\/walnut-taco-meat\/\">walnut taco meat<\/a>, so of course I wanted to share an actual walnut taco recipe to go along with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These tacos are, in one word, phenomenal. The walnut taco meat takes less than 10 minutes to prep, and after that it&#8217;s just adding your toppings! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First: Prep the taco &#8220;meat&#8221;.<\/strong> Follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/thealmondeater.com\/walnut-taco-meat\/\">walnut taco meat recipe<\/a> instructions, then set the meat aside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second: Assemble the tacos.<\/strong> Heat your tortillas directly over the stove\/grill, or in a skillet, then fill them with the vegan taco meat, along with your toppings of choice. Oh, and if you&#8217;re making these in the summertime, you MUST serve my <a href=\"https:\/\/thealmondeater.com\/corn-kale-salad\/\">grilled corn kale salad<\/a> on the side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"schema-faq wp-block-yoast-faq-block\"><div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1614287136636\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Can these be prepped ahead of time? <\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Yes and no. You can definitely make the walnut taco meat in advance and store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. But, I&#8217;d wait until you&#8217;re ready to eat\/serve these before adding the toppings. <\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1614287260683\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Are these tacos gluten free\/paleo-friendly? <\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">No, but they can be! The taco meat uses soy sauce, which isn&#8217;t gluten free or paleo.
