Oh, and because they make steak seem a little less intimidating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though I know traditional steak is easy to prep, it can often seem intimidating because it&#8217;s often seen as &#8220;fancy&#8221;. But these steak bites? They&#8217;re <em>casual<\/em> and couldn&#8217;t be easier to whip up. Since they&#8217;re bite-sized, you don&#8217;t need a knife to eat them. Instead, just eat them eat them with a fork and appreciate the fact that they&#8217;re already cut for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bite-size-steak-ingredients\">Bite-Size Steak Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Top sirloin steak<\/strong> &#8211; This is what I used and what I recommend, but you can use other cuts of beef as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> &#8211; Or you can use avocado oil. You want to use an oil with a high smoke point, like olive oil or avocado oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ghee<\/strong> &#8211; Ghee is just clarified butter, but it is paleo-friendly. You can also substitute butter and it&#8217;ll work just as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Garlic<\/strong> &#8211; Garlic pairs perfectly with butter and helps elevate the flavor profile of this recipe<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-make-steak-bites\">How to Make Steak Bites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Cut the steak<\/strong>. This might be the most important step! Be sure to use a sharp knife, then cut the steak into 1&#8243; cubes. Since the steak is cut into smaller pieces, it will cook relatively quickly. Simply heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet then cook the steak for a few minutes or to your liking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Add the &#8220;sauce&#8221; aka butter<\/strong>. When the steak is <em>almost<\/em> done cooking, add the butter and garlic, which will add a ton of flavor to this recipe (as butter and garlic tend to do!).
